Hunter is the best class for leveling in the game. It is the only class in the game that deals ranged physical damage. It is the most self-reliant, independent class in the game, a master survivalist capable of dealing with a lot of damage.

Here is the recommended order to pick your talents during leveling:
During your leveling, you will need a Tiger pet. They’re the highest damage pets. You can have a tiger in nearly every zone in the game. Because of that, if you want another tiger with another visual style, you can get one without interrupting your progression.
You can pick a Snow Leopard in Dun Morogh in the North-Eastern part of the map.
You can choose a Feral Nightsaber on the Top of Teldrassil
You can choose a Savannah Huntress in the Barrens
